What is The Voice of Freedom?

“The Voice of Freedom” is a daily half-hour program aired both via satellite and internet four times a day. We share the life-saving message of God’s freedom and love and Christ’s redemptive work with the Farsi-speaking young Muslims.

Farsi is the spoken and written language of 70 million Iranians, 29 million Afghanis, and about 7 million Tajiks. Our programs are produced in Farsi which is the key language to reach these nations.

We are accomplishing this goal through themes such as:

• Marriage & Family
• Foundation to Christianity
• Miracles & Healings
• Principles of Business and Prosperity
• Future Youth of Iran

We believe the time has come for the fulfillment of the prophecy in Jeremiah 49:38-39‚ “I will set My Throne in Elam (Iran) and I will destroy from their king and princes, says the Lord. But it shall be in the latter days, that I will reverse the captivity and restore the fortunes of Elam, says the Lord.”

Who are we reaching?

• We are specifically focusing on the 70% of the population (50 million) in Iran who are under the age of 30 and the 50% (35 million) who are under the age of 15.

• The majority of Farsi-speaking people live in Iran, Afghanistan and Tajikistan. They are also scattered throughout the Middle East, Europe, North Africa, and North America.

• Farsi-speaking people number about 105 million and 95% of them are Muslims and of those who claim to be Christians, only a small percentage are actually born again and have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. In Iran, they constitute about 1.5% of the population (of about two million), and are the largest group of believers in the Farsi speaking world.

Why satellite television and the internet?

• Uncensored: The media, especially satellite television, can play a strategic role in evangelism because the technology allows us to take an uncensored message of the Gospel to the people in the privacy of their homes.

• Easy access: There are over 30 million Farsi speaking satellite TV viewers per day who prefer to watch our programs over local programming. In Iran:

• 99.9% of the population watch satellite television and
• 80.8% have computers in their homes.
• 68.4% have access to internet.
• Iran is the highest internet user in the non-western world.

• Weak competition: Because of widespread cultural decline in Iran, national television is very weak and fairly inane in content. Decent production values go a long way, especially when coupled with solid, engaging content.

Why now?

For the past 1500 years ever since Islamic forces invaded the areas known today as Islamic nations, we have not seen a move of God among the Muslim people. However, for the first time in history, we are now witnessing a great outpouring of the Spirit of God among Farsi speaking Muslims throughout the Middle East.

Since the 1979 Islamic revolution of Ayatollah Khomeini in Iran, God has been shredding the fragile fabrics Islam and tearing down the stronghold of Islam. After nearly thirty years of a reign of terror and oppression, the Iranian society has become wide open for a major change. Some observers indicate that Iran is now at a spiritual crossroads. Once a zealous religious people, today Iranians are searching for spiritual identity. They have tasted the reality of an oppressive religion.

There is a desperate cry for change coming out of Iran. The question is who will respond to this cry? Secularism, Western materialism, Mormonism, Terrorism or a Voice of Freedom?

“The Voice of Freedom” are an evangelistic and apostolic programs geared to cast a global net for the harvest of Farsi speaking viewers throughout the world establishing a fresh culture of freedom, faith, family, integrity, and love.
